11/22/04: Lisa Hart becomes Producer of Barchords
On November 22, 2004, Lisa Hart accepted the position of Producer of Barchords, a half hour rock music video television show produced by Eno River Media Production. Lisa will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the production cluster for the program Barchords until the end of 2005.
Lisa was born in Oxford, NC on December 18, 1965. Growing up in Oxford, Lisa graduated from J.F. Webb High School. After graduating, Lisa worked in the retail industry for 10 years before switching to a career in the restaurant industry for the next 8 years. Lisa currently works for Croscill Inc. in Henderson, NC.
Through her friendship with a local radio station DJ, Lisa discovered the world of music. Lisa realized that there was music that could be heard that was not played on the radio. So her hobby became finding bands that had never won a Grammy and did not get mass media coverage but touched her soul. Lisa discovered that even if the music was not “your cup of tea” that you should still appreciate the effort and know that someone's heart went into creating the song.
So after 15 years of music education, Lisa was brought to the point that she needed to contribute to the music industry through promoting those little know bands.
Lisa has the following to say regarding Barchords: “Barchords is a very important television show for the local music scene in Raleigh NC. What is played on the radio or what you may see on TV is entertainment, not music; what these bands play is what they created not what the "Man" told the masses they wanted to hear. It is music in its purest form. Barchords showcases these bands and lets those who may not go to the clubs see what they are missing.
